Ready to get printing? Here are some of the supplies you should have on hand:
Paper in the size you want (A5, A4, and letter are the options). OPTIONAL is having the paper with pre-drilled holes. You will need holes in the paper eventually, and I find that it’s worth having the holes pre-drilled on the A5, but less vital on the A4 and letter as it is easier to get an accurate hole-punch from a home system
A printer or access to one with the ability to print double-sided (preferable but not necessary – more on that on another post)
A binder the size of your paper – I’ve been using this binder, but anything that is A5 will do. Just make sure the ring size is big enough to accommodate everything.
Dividers – I bought pre-cut dividers and added labels with my label maker. I included a template to make stickers or cut-outs you could just tape to the divider tabs. You could also make section divisions just by using tape flags or small post-its. Whatever works for you!
Optional
While it’s “optional” I LOVE my “Today” moveable book mark. That way I can always turn to the week I’m on and easily move it. These were surprisingly hard to source – I found mine in the US before I moved to the UK. Like the dividers, you could make a DIY one with a small post it or tape flag, but the hard plastic bookmark is ideal.
A pouch for receipts and an insert for credit card sized-things. I use my planner as a repository for little things I anticipate needing handy as I move through my tasks. Not everything fits, but it’s a dependable spot for small stuff.
